About – Our Facility

Completed in 2012, with updates and renovations since, our facility would not have been possible without the incredible support of our many supporters, Spring Valley Building Centre, and the government of PEI who supplied the land.

It features seven camper cabins that are fully insulated and heated. These each sleep 10 campers and two counsellors. Our main washroom facilities are located next to the cabins. They include separate staff and campers facilities complete with indoor and outdoor showers. They too are insulated and heated/cooled.

Our dining hall and kitchen accommodates up to 120 people. Our amazing team of volunteers help prepare fantastic meals all throughout camp with fresh ingredients grown in our own gardens.

Next to our dining hall is the centrepiece of our facility: the lodge. Arts and crafts, indoor programming, events, and when necessary indoor campfires all happen here. There are also staff offices, accommodations, and a first aid room. Some staff reside in our staff cabin located next to the main lodge called Ryan’s Retreat, named after a long-time friend of Camp Triumph.

For sports and recreation, we make great use of our multi-purpose court. Here campers enjoy playing basketball, tennis, road hockey, and a whole host of unique activities.

Our incredible high and low ropes challenge course, complete with climbing tower and zip line helps our campers challenge themselves individually and within a team environment. It is the catalyst for building self-esteem, communication skills, team work, improving group dynamics, sparking positive encouragement of others, and expanding one’s comfort zone.

Right across the road is Cabot Beach. A place where all campers can find fun or relaxation. Off that beach is also where we kayak - an activity that allows our campers to experience the command of their own boat and discover the tranquility of being on the water.
