Camp Triumph is a unique residential camp, which fills a need for an often unrecognized group of children. Located beside Cabot Beach Provincial Park, in Malpeque, PEI, this camp is designed to address the needs of children, between the ages of 8-17, who have a sibling or parent with a serious chronic illness or disability. When one family member has a significant medical condition, the whole family is impacted in many ways. Often there is uncertainty about the future, financial burdens, and other stressors that necessitate making the ill family member the priority. This can make it more difficult for the other members of the family to get the attention and opportunities from which they would otherwise have benefited. Camp Triumph is for these children.
