Counsellors come from all over the Maritimes to volunteer and get to know some amazing kids and other counsellors from many different backgrounds.

What volunteers get out of it
The experience of a lifetime. The campers will expose you to a different perspective and the value of appreciating what you have in life. You will grow as a person and gain skills. You will have just as much fun as the kids in a carefree, welcoming, and relaxing environment. It is great experience in its own right and translatable to graduate school, health professional programs, residency applications, teaching school, and โ€˜real worldโ€™ jobs!

Who we are
Camp Triumph provides a unique and unforgettable camp experience to children who have a parent or sibling with a serious illness or disability. Children, aged 7-16, congregate in this wonderful haven where they take a break from the challenging lives they face at such young ages. We provide therapy through FUN. Our campers take part in a balanced program that includes, physical activity, healthy eating, creative arts, self-esteem boosting, relationship building, and relaxation. Our counsellors play a key role in enriching their experience.
